Osimhen Encourages Boniface After Goal Drought in Super Eagles’ 1-0 Win Over Libya

Victor Osimhen has extended his support to fellow Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, who has been struggling to score for Nigeria. Despite his excellent form at Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface failed to find the net again as Nigeria secured a 1-0 win over Libya in their 2025 AFCON qualifier, thanks to a late goal from substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

Osimhen, sidelined due to injury, took to social media to encourage Boniface, telling him in Pidgin, “No shaking my guy, e go come, and when e finally come, e no go stop.” Boniface humorously blamed his “village people” for his goal drought, receiving support from fans and rapper Odumodublvck.

The Bayer Leverkusen forward is hoping to break his goal drought in the second leg of the qualifiers.
