UK-based boxing equipment company, BOXUP, made a significant donation to the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) during an event at the Bukom Boxing Arena. The donation coincided with an exhibition match to showcase the newly formed national team and rising male and female amateur stars. BOXUP CEO, Dr. Stephen Addison, promised more support if Ghana secures medals in upcoming World Championships and Olympic Games.

GBF Vice President Alhaji Dauda Fuseni expressed gratitude for the donation, while GBF Treasurer Mustapha Nettey highlighted how the support would motivate new athletes. GBF President Bernard Quartey also thanked BOXUP and encouraged the boxers to strive for success in future competitions.
