Rangers and Nigeria central defender Leon Balogun has urged the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to take decisive action against Libyan authorities for leaving the Nigerian national football team stranded at The Al Abaq Airport for over 13 hours without basic amenities. The Super Eagles were en route to Benghazi for a match but faced severe delays and poor conditions, prompting Balogun and his teammate William Troost-Ekong to raise concerns over security and treatment. Balogun labeled the situation as “unacceptable” and called for accountability.
