The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped three places in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings, moving from 70th to 73rd globally and 14th in Africa. This decline follows a winless October international window, where Ghana drew and lost to Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The team had previously slipped to 70th in September due to similar results against Angola and Niger. Ghana now faces the possibility of missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, as they remain winless in Group F. Comoros, one of Ghana’s World Cup qualifying group opponents, saw the biggest improvement, moving up ten places globally. Argentina, France, Spain, England, and Brazil top the global rankings, while Morocco leads in Africa, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, and Algeria. Ghana’s next qualifiers are against Angola and Niger.
