Tariqe Fosu Shines as Northampton Defeats Crawley Town 3-0 in League One

Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu claimed the Man of the Match award after his impressive performance in Northampton Town’s 3-0 win over Crawley Town in a League One clash at Sixfields Stadium on Saturday.

The 28-year-old, in electrifying form, opened the scoring just 16 minutes into the game, causing persistent challenges for Crawley on the right flank. Northampton extended their lead with a Jay Williams’ own goal in the 30th minute, while Mitch Pinnock’s goal ten minutes into the second half sealed the victory.

After joining Northampton Town in the summer following his departure from Brentford, Fosu has scored twice and provided two assists in ten League One appearances this season. The England-born forward has four caps for Ghana’s Black Stars, making his debut on October 9, 2020.
