Ayew Expresses Disappointment After Le Havre’s Narrow Loss to Stade Rennes

Ghana international Andre Ayew has voiced his frustration following Le Havre’s 1-0 defeat to Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1 over the weekend. Ayew, who recently rejoined the Ligue 1 side, played the full match as Le Havre struggled to find the back of the net at Roazhon Park, with the first half ending in a goalless draw. The only goal of the match came in the second half when Andres Gomez scored for Rennes in the 54th minute.

“It’s difficult not to take a point. Let’s keep going,” Ayew shared on Instagram after the match, acknowledging the support from fans. The 34-year-old attacking midfielder has made two appearances since his return to Le Havre, where he was a standout performer last season. Ayew signed a one-year contract in early October, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2025.

In related news, Ayew’s teammate and fellow Ghanaian Alidu Seidu was substituted in the 78th minute due to injury.
