Kelvin Ofori’s Late Goal Secures Dramatic Win for Spartak Trnava Over Trencin

Ghanaian winger Kelvin Ofori proved to be the match-winner in Spartak Trnava’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Trencin in the Slovakian Super Liga. Playing the entire match at Stadion na Sihoti, Ofori scored the decisive goal in the 88th minute, marking Trnava’s 23rd win in their historic rivalry with Trencin.

The game saw Trencin initially take the lead through Lazar Stojsavljevic’s deflected shot in the 12th minute. However, a first-half own goal by Stojsavljevic brought the Trnava level just before halftime. In the 67th minute, Emmanuel Uchegbu restored Trencin’s advantage following a defensive lapse from Trnava. Spartak Trnava then surged back with Erik Daniel, equalizing in the 82nd minute. Six minutes later, Ofori fired a powerful shot from the edge of the box, sealing a crucial victory for Trnava and earning them three valuable points.

This win positions Spartak Trnava strongly as they gear up to face Komarno in their upcoming league fixture.
