Ghanaian Players Abroad: Partey Stars Against Liverpool, Tetteh and Fosu Net Goals, Paintsil Powers LA Galaxy to Victory

In Slovenia, Benjamin Tetteh made an immediate impact, scoring in his debut for Maribor in a 1-1 draw with Mura, while Ibrahim Tanko also found the net in Serbia, helping Radnicki secure a draw against Mladost. Meanwhile, in England’s League One, Tarique Fosu powered Northampton to a 3-0 win over Crawley with a brilliant goal.

Over in England’s Premier League, Thomas Partey showcased his skill with an impressive display in Arsenal’s high-energy 2-2 draw with Liverpool, earning a solid rating of 7.4. Eddie Nketiah, coming off the bench for Crystal Palace, helped see his side secure a 1-0 win over Tottenham. In Spain’s La Liga, Abdul Mumin experienced a challenging game for Rayo Vallecano, receiving a red card in their narrow 1-0 win over Alaves. In France’s Ligue 1, Andre Ayew made his first start for Le Havre in their 1-0 loss to Rennes, where Ghanaian compatriot Alidu Seidu also featured.

Across Europe, several players made notable appearances. In Italy, Alfred Duncan played a part in Venezia’s 2-2 draw with Monza, while Germany’s Bundesliga II saw Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer in action for Hamburger SV, though they lost 4-2 to Elversberg.

From Belgium to Turkey and beyond, Ghanaian stars are leaving their mark. In Belgium, Mohammed Fuseini scored for Royale Union SG in their 3-1 loss to Cercle Brugge, and Alexander Djiku helped Fenerbahce to a 2-0 win over Bodrumspor in Turkey’s Super Lig.
