BetPawa Park Development Advances with Start of Phase Two Construction at Ghanaman Soccer Center

Excitement surrounds the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram as BetPawa, through Mchezo Limited, prepares to launch the second phase of construction at BetPawa Park. This advancement, announced by Mchezo Limited’s Managing Director Ntoudi Mouyelo at a press conference on Tuesday, signals BetPawa’s continued commitment to the project, despite terminating their Ghana Premier League sponsorship a year ago.

In 2022, BetPawa and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) entered a $6 million, three-year partnership, positioning BetPawa as the Ghana Premier League’s main sponsor. Under this agreement, BetPawa pledged to construct a new pitch at the Ghanaman Center, known as the BetPawa Park, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The project’s first phase was completed in August, introducing a fully-equipped playing field, substitute benches, and changing rooms.

Now, with a revised “locker room contract” that enables stadium work to progress independently of the GFA, BetPawa is moving forward with Phase Two. This phase will add new facilities to elevate the center’s infrastructure, aiming to support Ghana’s footballing talent and provide a world-class environment for players.

“This is a pure CSR initiative between us and the contractors,” Mouyelo emphasized, highlighting BetPawa’s dedication to the growth of football in Ghana beyond sponsorship agreements. Despite the contract’s conclusion, BetPawa’s strong partnership with the GFA ensures that the project continues without disruption, further solidifying its role in advancing the nation’s sports infrastructure.
