GFA Denies Coaching Rumors, Reinforces Puma Partnership in Germany

In response to recent rumors circulating about the Ghana Football Association (GFA) engaging a German coach for the Black Stars, the GFA has issued an official statement clarifying the situation.

On Tuesday, November 5, the association dismissed claims that its president, Kurt Okraku, had traveled to Germany to negotiate with a potential coach. According to the GFA, the reports are “entirely false.” Instead, the trip was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the relationship with Puma, the official kit sponsor for the Black Stars. Okraku’s meetings with Puma focused on enhancing their partnership and exploring areas of mutual interest, which the GFA had previously shared through its official channels.

The GFA urged fans and the media to disregard any coaching rumors and to rely on their official website and social media accounts for trustworthy updates. This swift response reflects the GFA’s commitment to transparency and managing public expectations around the national team’s future.
