In a bold move to enhance its operations, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled a fully renovated Old Block, commonly referred to as the PLB Block, at its Secretariat. This milestone is part of a broader strategy to upgrade infrastructure and create a more efficient working environment.
The renovations transformed the Old Block into a hub of functionality and innovation. The top floor now accommodates the Marketing and National Teams Departments, which have been relocated to modernized spaces tailored for optimal performance. The Communications Department also received a major facelift, boasting a revamped multimedia studio and upgraded offices designed to meet contemporary operational demands.
Meanwhile, the ground floor underwent a complete overhaul, expanding the IT Department to provide more office space for additional staff. This upgrade is pivotal in enabling the IT team to deliver dedicated support to all 10 Regional Football Associations and various other divisions. Alongside this, the ground floor now features a new business development office, transportation office, and well-organized Stores.
These renovations follow earlier upgrades to the main Secretariat Block and reflect the GFA’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a professional working environment. The newly refurbished Old Block is set to play a key role in supporting the Association’s ambitious plans for growth and development.
