In a thrilling Serbian Super Liga encounter on Saturday, former Ghana U20 captain Zubairu Ibrahim continued his fine form, scoring his fifth league goal of the season to help FK Partizan Belgrade to a dominant 3-0 victory over FK Jedinstvo Ub at the Partizana Stadium in Belgrade.
The game sprang to life in the second half when Israeli midfielder Bibras Natcho opened the scoring with a clinical finish, assisted by Bosnian playmaker Stefan Kovac. The momentum quickly shifted further in Partizan’s favor as Serbian forward Nemanja Nikolic capitalized on a clever pass from Congolese winger Aldo Kalulu to double their lead.
Not content with a single contribution, Kalulu turned provider again, setting up Ibrahim for the third and final goal of the match in the 53rd minute. The Ghanaian forward displayed composure and precision to seal a comfortable victory for the home side.
Another Ghanaian, Leonard Owusu, formerly of Dreams FC, made an appearance as a second-half substitute, replacing Kovac in the 77th minute.
Zubairu Ibrahim’s stellar performance is part of a standout campaign that has seen him register six goals and three assists across 19 appearances in all competitions, cementing his status as a key figure in Partizan’s squad.
