Mohammed Kudus Set to Return as West Ham Eyes Leicester City Clash

After serving a five-game suspension, Mohammed Kudus is set to make his much-anticipated return for West Ham United in their Premier League showdown against Leicester City on Tuesday, December 3.

The Ghanaian midfielder’s suspension stemmed from a red card incident during West Ham’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur on October 19. Kudus was penalized for improper conduct and violent behavior following an altercation with Spurs players Micky Van de Ven and Pape Matar Sarr. Initially handed a three-game ban, the punishment was later extended to five matches, accompanied by a £60,000 fine.

During Kudus’ absence, the Hammers struggled to find consistency, managing just one win in the five-game stretch. His return is viewed as a major boost for manager Julen Lopetegui, whose side is aiming to turn their fortunes around during a packed December schedule.

Before the suspension, Kudus had scored twice in eight Premier League appearances, showcasing the form that made him a standout signing from Ajax Amsterdam last season. Despite his importance to West Ham, rumors of a potential move to Arsenal or Liverpool continue to swirl, adding uncertainty to his future with the London club.

As Kudus rejoins his teammates, all eyes will be on the 24-year-old to see if he can help spark a resurgence for the Hammers in their quest for Premier League success.
