Black Galaxies forward Albert Amoah has issued a passionate call to Ghanaian football fans, urging them to come out in full force to support the team in their CHAN qualifier against Nigeria this Sunday.
The highly anticipated first-leg encounter will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return fixture scheduled for the Godsway Akpabio Stadium in Nigeria.
Amoah, who recently scored the decisive goal for Asante Kotoko in their thrilling super clash victory over Hearts of Oak, expressed confidence in the team’s ability to deliver a crucial win. “Looking at how far we’ve come in terms of preparation, I think Ghanaians should expect something positive from us,” he stated.
The forward emphasized the team’s commitment to restoring pride to Ghanaian football and reigniting fans’ passion for the game. “We have really prepared well and are looking to make Ghanaians happy and bring the love for football back,” Amoah added.
Calling for massive fan support, Amoah assured fans of the team’s determination to secure victory. “I want the fans to show up in their numbers, and we will give them the victory they want,” he promised.
The Black Galaxies are eager to build on their recent success against Nigeria, having triumphed on penalties two years ago to secure a spot in the previous CHAN tournament. With their eyes set on another strong performance, the team is counting on the unwavering support of Ghanaian fans to push them over the line.
