Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top performers this season, earning recognition for his relentless displays for AFC Bournemouth. The Black Stars striker currently ranks fourth among players with the most duels won in the league, a table largely dominated by defenders and midfielders.

Semenyo has won an impressive 105 duels so far, trailing only Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães (120) and the pair of Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United) and Daniel Muñoz (Crystal Palace), who each have 107. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is the only other forward in the top ten, highlighting Semenyo’s remarkable impact.

Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi also made the list, ranking tenth with 93 duels won.

The 23-year-old Bournemouth star has enjoyed a stellar start to the season. He clinched the club’s Player of the Month awards for both August and September, with his breathtaking solo goal against Southampton earning a nomination for Premier League Goal of the Month in September.

Beyond his dominance in duels, Semenyo has featured in other notable statistical rankings this season, including touches in the opposition box and successful take-ons, further underlining his versatility and attacking threat.

As Semenyo continues to impress, both for club and country, he is undoubtedly cementing his place as one of the Premier League’s rising stars.
