Davis Mensah Inspires Mantova to Historic Win Over Frosinone

In a thrilling Serie B Round 18 clash, Mantova marked their first-ever encounter with Frosinone with a resounding 3-1 victory at Stadio Danilo Martelli. The star of the night was none other than Italian-Ghanaian forward Davis Mensah, whose brilliance propelled his side to a memorable triumph.

From the first whistle, Mantova displayed intent, breaking the deadlock in the 23rd minute with a devastating counterattack. Mensah, showing his trademark composure, delivered a pinpoint pass to Davide Bragantini, who calmly slotted home to make it 1-0.

The hosts doubled their advantage in the 38th minute when Antonio Fiori set up Simone Trimboli for a sharp finish. But Mensah wasn’t done yet. On the stroke of halftime, he showcased his impeccable vision, threading a perfectly timed pass to Mattia Aramu, whose composed strike gave Mantova a commanding 3-0 lead.

Despite a spirited solo goal from Frosinone’s Tjas Begic in the 55th minute, the visitors couldn’t claw their way back into the game. Mensah, who now boasts four assists in 14 league appearances, played 78 minutes, further solidifying his role as a key player in Mantova’s campaign.

With this win, Mantova builds momentum ahead of their next challenge against Spezia on December 26.
