Ghanaian Forward Brings Smiles to Children During the Festive Season
Ghanaian international Bernard Tekpetey has once again demonstrated his commitment to giving back, as he made a heartwarming donation to the Royal Seed Orphanage in Kasoa through his Bernard Tekpetey Foundation.
The Bulgaria-based striker, who plays for Ludogorets Razgrad, presented an array of essential items to the children at the orphanage. The donation included footballs, clothes, books, toiletries, and other necessities. Tekpetey was joined by a group of French entrepreneurs who contributed to the effort, creating a memorable day for the children.
“Together, we can make a difference! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in supporting this event at the Royal Seed Orphanage Home. Your generosity brings hope and change to those who need it most. Thank you,” the Bernard Tekpetey Foundation shared on social media, expressing gratitude to all who supported the initiative.
The festive occasion was not just about giving; Tekpetey and his team engaged the children in fun activities, including a friendly football match, spreading joy and hope to the young ones.
Reflecting on the event, Tekpetey said, “It’s the festive season, and the year has ended. Me coming here is a plus. It is a New Year, and we want to celebrate the day with them. Also, you can see the items—food, clothes, and a lot of things. We just want to bless them so they can feel hope and know there is someone who is thinking about them.”
Known for his philanthropic efforts, Tekpetey has been a regular contributor to social causes, especially during his visits to Ghana. Despite recovering from an injury that has sidelined him since the start of the season, the ex-Schalke player continues to make a positive impact off the field.
