Gregory De Grauwe Appointed as Black Stars’ Chief Video Analyst to Boost Team Performance

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the appointment of Gregory De Grauwe as the Chief Video Analyst for the Black Stars. This strategic move, unveiled on Tuesday, January 28, is part of the GFA’s efforts to elevate the national team’s performance through advanced technical support.

De Grauwe, a Belgian professional with an impressive résumé, brings extensive experience to the role. He holds a UEFA License B Coaching qualification, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, and expertise in performance analysis. Over the years, he has worked with prominent Belgian clubs, including STVV, Sporting Lokeren, K. Beerschot VA, SC Zulte Waregem, and KV Kortrijk. Additionally, he has served as a lecturer on video analysis for the Royal Belgian Football Association since 2020.

According to the GFA, De Grauwe’s blend of coaching knowledge and analytical skills will provide invaluable support to the Black Stars’ coaching team. His insights are expected to significantly enhance tactical strategies and player performance.

“Gregory De Grauwe’s expertise in coaching and video analysis will be pivotal in helping the Black Stars achieve greater success,” the GFA noted in its statement.

This appointment underscores the GFA’s commitment to leveraging modern technology and expert knowledge to strengthen the team’s competitive edge on the international stage.
