Westchester SC secures experienced Ghanaian defender for inaugural USL League One season
As Westchester Soccer Club prepares to carve its name into USL League One history, the club has found a defensive leader in Rashid Tetteh. The 29-year-old Ghanaian center-back arrives with a wealth of experience, ready to anchor a backline that will set the tone for the team’s debut season.
Born in Accra, Ghana, Tetteh’s journey has been one of perseverance and growth. From playing collegiate soccer at High Point University to making a name for himself in the USL with stints at Carolina Dynamo, Des Moines Menace, New Mexico United, and most recently, FC Tulsa, he has proven to be a rock at the heart of defense. His composure, tactical awareness, and leadership qualities will be instrumental in shaping Westchester SC’s identity on the field.
With the club’s first-ever match set for March 8 against Greenville Triumph SC, Tetteh and his teammates are eager to make an emphatic statement.
