Wisdom Boxing Gym Fighters Shine at ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ Event

Haruna Mohammed, Nana Adjei Clinton, Joseph Antwi, and other talented fighters from Wisdom Boxing Gym showcased their skills under the tutelage of Dr. Ofori Asare at the thrilling ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ boxing event.

Haruna Mohammed Dominates
National cruiserweight champion Haruna Mohammed (5-1-0), known as “Thunder,” proved too strong for Felix Mankattah. Displaying sharp reflexes, explosive hooks, and powerful punches, he controlled the fight with excellent defense. Though he had hoped to face Jacob Dickson, he was eager to return to the ring after his last bout in April 2023. His improved tactical skills have drawn praise from the boxing community.

Joseph Antwi’s Spectacular Debut
Joseph ‘Junior Bazooka’ Antwi made an electrifying debut, entertaining the crowd with his dominant performance against Kenneth Owiredu, who succumbed in the second round. Fans can expect to see more from this rising star.

Nana Adjei Clinton Impresses
With a record of 6-1-0, Nana Adjei Clinton captivated the audience by showcasing his Ghanaian heritage with a kente club and the new Black Star Jersey. His southpaw stance gave him the upper hand against David Okai, as he demonstrated speed and skill despite his weight class.

Other Notable Fights
David Kanezi emerged victorious over Ishmael Adjei of Wisdom Boxing Gym, proving his superiority in the ring.

Matchmaker Sarah Lotus Asare praised the event’s success, highlighting the cultural drumming display, ‘Kolomashi,’ which added a unique Ghanaian touch. She also expressed gratitude to the sponsors for supporting the show.
