Ebenezer Annan Shines as Red Star Belgrade Secure Dominant Away Victory

Ebenezer Annan had a night to remember as he marked his name on the scoresheet for the first time in Red Star Belgrade’s colors, inspiring his side to a commanding 3-0 victory over Radnicki Nis on Saturday.

The Ghanaian fullback wasted no time in making an impact, assisting Bruno Duarte’s opener in the 10th minute with a perfectly timed pass. Moments later, in the 23rd minute, Annan seized his moment of glory, bursting forward and delivering a composed finish to double the advantage.

His attacking contributions set the tone for Red Star’s dominance, and Mirko Ivanic’s strike in the 71st minute sealed the win at the Gradski Stadium.

Annan’s stellar performance underlined his growing influence in the squad. Having already made 26 appearances in the Serbian Super Liga this season, the young defender now has a goal and two assists to his name—highlighting his evolution as a key asset for the Serbian giants.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian duo Joseph Opoku and Ibrahim Tanko remained on the bench for Radnicki Nis, watching as their side struggled to contain a ruthless Red Star attack.

With his confidence soaring after his maiden goal, Annan will now look to build on this milestone as the season progresses.
