It’s now confirmed: Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of the month, making him a free agent.
The Ghanaian midfielder’s exit, first reported last week, has now been solidified as the Gunners move forward with plans to reshape their midfield.
Arsenal have already opened talks with Brentford over a potential deal for Christian Nørgaard, who is being considered as Partey’s replacement ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Partey joined Arsenal from Atlético Madrid in 2020 and made over 100 appearances for the North London club.
