Ibrahim Osman Thrilled to Begin New Chapter with AJ Auxerre

Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman has expressed his joy and anticipation after securing a move to French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre from Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 20-year-old attacker signed a season-long loan deal with Auxerre on Tuesday, July 8, in a transfer that includes an option to buy. The French club confirmed his arrival via an official statement, highlighting his pace, dribbling prowess, and international experience as valuable additions to their squad. Osman has been handed the number 23 shirt for the upcoming season.

“AJA is pleased to announce the arrival of Ibrahim Osman! The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has joined Premier League club Brighton on loan (with an option to buy) for one season,” the club announced.

Osman, who has already featured twice for the Ghana national team, shared his excitement in a short unveiling video, where he was visibly thrilled to join the historic French side.

“Happy to be here. Can’t wait to get started. See you soon,” he said.

The young forward is expected to play a key role in AJ Auxerre’s Ligue 1 campaign and is eager to impress the fans with his energetic style and attacking flair.
