Manchester United have been dealt a major blow as first-choice goalkeeper André Onana has been officially ruled out of the club’s pre-season tour due to a hamstring injury. The setback comes just weeks before the start of the Premier League season, leaving manager Rúben Amorim with a big decision to make.
Sources say Amorim is now seriously considering entering the transfer market to secure a new goalkeeper, with the club reluctant to risk starting the campaign without sufficient cover between the sticks.
Onana’s absence not only disrupts United’s preparations but could also force a shift in summer transfer priorities.
