AC Milan’s latest recruit, David Odogu, has expressed his excitement and eagerness to kick-start his adventure with the Rossoneri after sealing a last-minute transfer from VfL Wolfsburg.
The Nigerian-born defender completed a dramatic €10 million switch on deadline day, penning a contract that runs until 2029, with an option to extend for another year.
In his first words as a Milan player, Odogu described the transfer as a “dream come true.”
“Yesterday everything happened so quickly, it was incredible,” he told the club’s official website. “I still can’t quite grasp what’s happened in the last 24 hours. So much has happened—it’s an incredible feeling. I’m very grateful to be here and I’m happy to be part of this club.”
For Odogu, joining one of Europe’s most decorated clubs marks a new chapter in his career, one he admits he’s impatient to begin in the Italian topflight.
