Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen’s recovery, assuring fans the Nigerian striker will be back on the pitch soon.

Osimhen sustained a bruised chin during Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda last week, forcing an early return to Turkey for treatment. Despite ongoing discomfort, the 26-year-old is making steady progress.

The injury kept the powerful forward out of Galatasaray’s 2–0 victory over Eyupspor on Saturday, but Buruk remains optimistic. “Victor is not completely free from pain yet, but we expect him to rejoin action shortly,” the coach stated.

Galatasaray supporters will be eager to see their star striker back as the club continues its domestic and European campaigns.
