Ghana’s Black Queens will kick off their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) journey in Morocco with a demanding group stage schedule, playing three matches within seven days at the Fès Sports Complex.
The Queens will begin their Group D campaign against Cape Verde on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in their opening fixture of the tournament.
They will then lock horns with regional rivals Cameroon in a pivotal matchday two encounter on Saturday, March 21, 2026, a clash expected to have a major impact on qualification hopes.
Ghana’s group stage campaign will conclude on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, when they face Mali on matchday three. All three fixtures will be staged at the Fès Sports Complex in the historic city of Fès.
With familiar African opponents lined up in quick succession, the tightly packed schedule presents a stern test for the Black Queens as they target a place in the quarter-finals of the continental showpiece.
