Eager to etch their names in history, the boxing team, having trained diligently at their respective clubs before assembling for a training camp in Cape Coast, is determined to leave a lasting legacy at the ‘Accra 2023’ Games.

Noteworthy professionals like Henry Malm, Mohammad Aryeetey, and Olympic Bronze medalist Samuel Takyi have chosen to contribute to Ghana’s boxing success at the games. The boxers now look to the government and people of Ghana for robust support and encouragement.

Under the guidance of the esteemed Dr. Coach Ofori Asare, Head Trainer of the National Team, the training drills aim to prepare the team to compete at the highest level. Assisting him are Vincent Akai Nettey, Head coach of Attoh Quarshie Boxing Gym, Daniel Larteykwei Lartey, Head trainer of Fit Square Gym, along with Frank Addo and Elvis Robertson from the Wisdom and Akotoku Academy Boxing gyms.
