Dan Quaye Warns Hearts of Oak Players of Relegation Curses

Dan Quaye, a revered figure in the Ghana Premier League, has issued a stern caution to the players of Hearts of Oak, highlighting the potential consequences of relegation.

In a recent interview with Akoma FM, Quaye expressed apprehensions about the club’s recent performances, suggesting that relegation could become a reality following their loss to Accra Lions.

Drawing parallels to Santos FC’s relegation in the Brazilian league despite their esteemed history, Quaye emphasized the seriousness of the situation. “It all depends on the players,” he remarked, urging them to heed the warning and avoid a similar fate for Hearts of Oak.

During his tenure with Hearts of Oak in the mid-2000s, Quaye emphasized that the club never faced relegation and stressed the players’ responsibility to uphold the team’s legacy. He underscored the disappointment among fans due to the team’s current poor form, asserting that the players have tarnished the club’s previous achievements.

With Hearts of Oak currently occupying the 12th position in the league standings with 35 points, Quaye urged the players to take their upcoming fixtures seriously, starting with their match against Berekum Chelsea. He emphasized that the players must rectify their performance to avoid the wrath of curses from disappointed supporters.
