Police Ladies Secure Women’s FA Cup Final Berth with Victory over Supreme Ladies

In a thrilling encounter at the Madina Astro Turf, Police Ladies emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Supreme Ladies, booking their spot in the Women’s FA Cup final.

Police Ladies took control early on with three first-half goals from Juanita Aguadze and Mary Berko, while Ruth Owusua managed to pull one back for Supreme Ladies in the second half. The Service Ladies made a blistering start, as Aguadze netted two quickfire goals in the 2nd and 4th minutes, giving Police Ladies a commanding lead.

Berko added her name to the scoresheet in the 22nd minute, extending Police Ladies’ lead to 3-0, before Owusua scored for Supreme Ladies in the 86th minute.

Police Ladies have demonstrated dominance throughout the 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup, securing victories against notable opponents such as Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Hasaacas Ladies, Agave Glad Ladies, and Immigration Ladies.

Having previously claimed the FA Cup title in 2016, Police Ladies are now set to face Army Ladies in the final of the 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup.
