Ibrahim Osman Aims to Mirror Simon Adingra’s Success at Brighton

Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman is confident that he can replicate the success of former Right to Dream Academy player Simon Adingra at Brighton & Hove Albion. Osman expressed this belief during his unveiling as a Brighton player, a move finalized in January.

In his first interview, Osman discussed the factors that led him to choose Brighton over other interested clubs. Following in the footsteps of his former academy teammate, Adingra, who won the 2023 AFCON with Côte d’Ivoire and has become a key player at Brighton, Osman feels inspired to achieve similar success.

“The style of play here is similar to FC Nordsjaelland, so Simon just told me to be the same player I was there. He has really inspired me during the AFCON and with his performances in the Premier League. If he can do it, then I’m confident I can do the same,” Osman said.

Osman joins a team with a strong lineup of wingers, including Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh.
