English-born Ghanaian sensation Sam Amo-Ameyaw scored a stunning goal as Southampton defeated Bordeaux in a thrilling pre-season match. The young star gave the Saints a second-half lead by winning the ball in midfield, gliding forward, and curling the ball into the net to make it 2-1.

Tyler Dibling opened the scoring for the Premier League returnees, but Alpha Diallo equalized a minute later, sending the game into halftime level. Amo-Ameyaw’s brilliant goal restored Southampton’s lead, and former Bordeaux youth player Sekou Mara extended the advantage.

Joss Marques da Silva scored a late consolation goal for Bordeaux, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Southampton from securing the victory.
