A fierce three-way battle for the Golden Boot is unfolding in the 2024 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship. Northern Region’s Musa Ahmed Sharafadeen and Western Region’s Stephen Cobbinah and Benedict Afful are all tied with five goals each, making for an exciting race to be the tournament’s top scorer.

The competition intensified during the recent semi-final match between Northern and Western Regions, where both Sharafadeen and Cobbinah added to their goal tallies.

The championship, broadcast live on platforms like the GFA’s Facebook page and Max TV, has become a crucial stage for identifying and developing young football talent in Ghana. Since its launch in 2021, the tournament has produced numerous players who have gone on to secure opportunities with Premier and Division One League clubs.
