Ghana’s Black Princesses Depart for Colombia Ahead of FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

Ghana’s national under-20 women’s football team, the Black Princesses, have departed Accra for Colombia as they prepare to compete in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. This marks the team’s seventh consecutive appearance at the tournament.

The Black Princesses recently moved their training camp from Cape Coast to Accra, where they played a final preparatory match against Avenor All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place in Colombia from August 31 to September 22, 2024. Ghana’s campaign begins on September 2 with a match against Austria, followed by group E fixtures against Japan and New Zealand.
