Ghanaian defender Philip Gameli Awuku has officially signed with Manisa FK, a club in Turkey’s second division. The 24-year-old agreed to a one-year contract, with an option for a further year.

Awuku’s move to Manisa FK follows his departure from Tuzlaspor earlier this summer, where he was a free agent. He began his professional career in Ghana with Okyeman Planners FC before moving to Turkey’s Super Lig with Yeni Malatyaspor for the 2020-2021 season. After two seasons, he joined Tuzlaspor for the 2022-2023 season, quickly becoming a key player.

Throughout his career, Awuku has made 83 official appearances and scored four goals, demonstrating his strong defensive capabilities and occasional scoring prowess.
