Ibrahim Zubairu Scores First Goal for Partizan Belgrade in Defeat to OFK Beograd

Former Ghana youth international Ibrahim Zubairu netted his first goal for FK Partizan Belgrade in a thrilling 3-2 loss to OFK Beograd in the Serbian Super Liga on Sunday. Despite Zubairu’s efforts, Partizan fell short at Stadion Omladinski.

The match saw Partizan take an early lead through Aleksandar Filipovic, only for OFK’s Ghanaian forward Samuel Owusu to equalize shortly after. Zubairu then restored Partizan’s lead with a precise finish in the 40th minute, reflecting his strong attacking skills from his time at King Faisal Babes FC.

However, OFK reversed the tide in the second half with late goals from Aleksandar Palocevic and Filip Stojilkovic, securing the victory and moving them to third place in the standings.

Ghanaian defenders Ebenezer Annan and midfielder Edmund Addo also played for OFK during the match. Zubairu, who transferred to Partizan from FK Jedinstvo Ub for €500,000 this summer, has made four appearances this season, with one goal and one assist to his name.
