According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Liverpool are assessing the 26-year-old Nigerian’s performance ahead of a potential move, despite already having attacking options like Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, and Darwin Núñez.

Lookman has excelled at Atalanta since joining in 2022, netting 33 goals and providing 19 assists in 81 games. His versatility across the front line and stellar form make him an appealing option for Liverpool, particularly if Mohamed Salah departs after his contract expires in 2025. A return to the Premier League could be enticing for Lookman, who has emerged as a frontrunner for the African Player of the Year award.
