The Achimota Golf Club (AGC) will celebrate its 90th anniversary with the Accra Open and Festival of Golf Week, set to take place from November 18 to November 23. The week-long event will feature a series of tournaments, drawing over 120 players from junior, senior, and professional ranks.

The festival kicks off on Monday, November 18, with a morning tournament for 54 junior players, followed by an afternoon competition for 72 senior players aged 60 and above. The action continues on Tuesday with 96 Division C players competing, while Wednesday will see a PRO-AM tournament involving 20 business teams.

Thursday marks the start of the 4-day Professional Tournament with 54 golfers teeing off, alongside Division B competitions. The prestigious Accra Open for Division A players begins on Friday, running through Sunday, where only the top 36 players will qualify for the final day.

The grand finale will see the winners of both the Accra Open and the Professional Tournament crowned, concluding the 90th-anniversary celebrations with a banquet to honor all the victors.
