Growing up in Ghana, Seidu admired national stars like Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, and Mubarak Wakaso, who inspired him to dream of representing the Black Stars.

When I played as a young boy, I would sometimes fight and kick people because the Spaniard was my role model.”
