Prince Tagoe Criticizes Mohammed Kudus’ Captaincy in Ghana-Sudan Draw: ‘Let Him Grow’

Former Ghana international Prince Tagoe has expressed concerns over Mohammed Kudus’ captaincy during Ghana’s goalless draw against Sudan in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers. Kudus was given the armband in the absence of Andre Ayew and Thomas Partey, but Tagoe believes Jordan Ayew should have led the team instead, emphasizing that Kudus needs time to develop without the added pressure of leadership. He also highlighted past mistakes in captaincy choices that have caused issues within the Black Stars.
