Prince Tagoe Urges Black Stars to Replicate Club Performances to Succeed in AFCON Qualifiers

Former Ghanaian striker, Prince Tagoe, believes that the Black Stars can excel if players bring at least 80% of their club-level performances to national team matches. Ghana’s struggles in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, with only two points from three games in Group F, have raised concerns. Their recent draw against Sudan in Accra has further jeopardized their chances of securing a spot in the tournament.

Tagoe highlighted the need for the Black Stars to show greater intensity and character in their games, stressing that their current approach lacks the drive needed for success. Ghana will next face Sudan in Tripoli, Libya, where they must secure a positive result to keep their qualification hopes alive.
