In a determined push for glory, Ghana’s Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, paid a special visit to the Black Queens in Rabat ahead of their blockbuster WAFCON semi-final clash against hosts Morocco.
Behind closed doors at the team’s hotel, Kofi Adams delivered a heartfelt message of encouragement, reminding the players and technical team that the whole nation stands solidly behind them. His mission was clear — to fuel the Queens with confidence as they chase a long-awaited spot in the final for the first time since 2006.
Arriving in Rabat to boost morale, Adams praised the team’s fighting spirit throughout the tournament and urged them to go all out under the floodlights of the intimidating 53,000-seater Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
With history within touching distance, the Black Queens know the stakes: silence the home crowd, make the final, and write a golden chapter in Ghanaian women’s football history.

Victor Boniface has revealed the rollercoaster drama behind his failed mega transfer to Saudi giants Al Nassr.
The Bayer Leverkusen star admitted the €70M offer was simply too good for the club to refuse, and with everything agreed, he was ready to start a new chapter. “I had my bags packed, I was set,” Boniface recalled.
In fact, so sure was he of the move, Boniface even gave away his designer outfits to friends before heading to Frankfurt Airport. “I was there, waiting and praying… but my village people said, ‘Let’s see how far you go,’ and last minute, everything collapsed,” he joked.
He hilariously revealed, “I had to call my friend like, ‘You remember that Louis Vuitton shirt I gave you?’”
A classic tale of “almost” in football — but with Boniface, you know the laughs are never missing.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze appears to have stalled. According to @SamJDean, the Gunners’ hopes of landing the exciting playmaker have taken a serious hit:
> “I’ve not heard anything really in the past few weeks that Eze to Arsenal is advancing in a positive direction. Everything I have been told throughout this summer has made me really doubt if this is possible.”
With Palace standing firm and no fresh progress reported, Arsenal’s midfield reinforcement plans might be heading elsewhere.
