Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo has reported for pre-season training with AFC Bournemouth following the signing of a new long-term contract with the Premier League outfit.
The 25-year-old forward linked up with his teammates on Monday as manager Andoni Iraola oversaw the first day of preparations for the 2025/26 season. Players took part in gym sessions and football drills as they build fitness ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Semenyo, who recently penned a contract extension keeping him at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2030, opted to stay at the club despite reported interest from top Premier League sides including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” Semenyo expressed after putting pen to paper.
Bournemouth are expected to play a series of pre-season friendlies, including a tour of the United States, before the Premier League returns in August.

Brighton & Hove Albion winger Ibrahim Osman has sealed a season-long loan move to AJ Auxerre, offering the Ghanaian forward a fresh opportunity to shine in Ligue 1. The deal includes a €16 million option to buy, should the French side decide to make the move permanent.
Osman, 20, joined Brighton in February 2024 after impressing at FC Nordsjælland, but is yet to fully break into the Premier League side’s plans. He spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, making 32 appearances, scoring four goals and registering three assists. Despite showing potential in the Eredivisie, the Dutch giants declined to trigger his purchase clause.
Now, Auxerre have stepped in, viewing Osman as a dynamic addition to their attacking options. With his pace, flair, and ability to create chances, the club believes he can play a crucial role in their Ligue 1 campaign.
Brighton, meanwhile, will be keeping a close eye on his progress, hoping that consistent minutes in France will elevate the youngster’s game for future success—either back at the Amex or on the European stage.

Celta Vigo are prepared to part ways with Ghanaian centre-back Joseph Aidoo ahead of the 2025 season. With just a year remaining on his contract, the Spanish club is reportedly willing to terminate the deal early, allowing Aidoo to leave as a free agent should no transfer materialize this summer.
The 28-year-old defender, who has been a key figure in Celta’s backline in recent seasons, faces an uncertain future as the club reshapes its squad. Aidoo’s departure would mark the end of a notable chapter since his arrival in 2019, with potential suitors now alerted to his availability.
