AWISA to Hold Elective General Assembly in Accra, Ghana from November 7th to 10th
The African Women In Sports Association (AWISA) will hold its fourth annual General Meeting in Accra, Ghana, at the M Plaza Hotel from November 7th to 10th. Ghana was chosen to host the event, as confirmed by Mrs. Joyce Mahama, president of the Women Sports Association of Ghana (WOSPAG). AWISA’s president is Madam Sheil Desha from Namibia, with Madam Carol Garoes serving as Vice President. The event is expected to attract delegates from over 70 countries, along with AU representatives. WOSPAG is affiliated with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
