Kelvin Yeboah Shines in Minnesota United’s 4-1 Victory Over St. Louis City
Minnesota United secured a commanding 4-1 win against St. Louis City at Allianz Field, with Ghanaian-Italian striker Kelvin Yeboah playing a pivotal role. Yeboah, on the pitch for 68 minutes, delivered a crucial assist in the 21st minute, setting up Robin Lod’s left-footed strike into the bottom corner.
Though St. Louis City dominated possession, they struggled to convert chances. Minnesota United capitalized, with Jeong Sang-Bin adding two goals in the 72nd and 84th minutes, and an own goal from Henry Kessler further sealing St. Louis’ fate. Marcel Hartel managed to pull one back for St. Louis in the 75th minute, but it wasn’t enough to alter the outcome.
With this win, Minnesota United now looks forward to facing Real Salt Lake on October 30th.
