From being doubted as a “Chelsea reject” to carving his name into Premier League folklore, Mohamed Salah has rewritten history once again.
The Liverpool talisman has become the first player ever to win the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award three times — in 2017/18, 2021/22, and now 2024/25.
But this season was about more than just another crown. Salah achieved the unimaginable, sweeping every major individual accolade in one campaign:
Premier League Golden Boot
Premier League Playmaker Award
Premier League Player of the Year
FWA Footballer of the Year
PFA Players’ Player of the Year
No player has ever conquered English football’s individual honors like this. For the Egyptian King, it’s not just a season to remember — it’s a legacy cemented.

On a night where he etched his name further into English football history, Mohamed Salah chose not to speak about himself, but about the next generation.
Standing tall as the PFA Men’s Player of the Year once again, Salah sent out a heartfelt reminder:
“Whatever dream you have in life, keep sticking at it. The light might not be bright in this moment, but keep believing and it will happen.”
From being doubted early in his career to becoming one of the Premier League’s greatest ever, Salah’s journey is living proof of those words. His message wasn’t just advice—it was a reflection of his story, a beacon of hope for every young dreamer who feels their path is dim today.
A king inspiring tomorrow’s kings and queens.

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo lit up Anfield with a dazzling performance for AFC Bournemouth, earning plaudits from Liverpool legend Steve McManaman despite his side’s 4-2 defeat in their Premier League opener.
Liverpool looked in full control in the first half, as new signing Hugo Ekitike broke the deadlock before Cody Gakpo doubled the advantage to give Jürgen Klopp’s men a comfortable 2-0 cushion at the break.
But the script flipped after halftime. Semenyo spearheaded Bournemouth’s fightback, showcasing his blistering pace and power to score in the 64th and 76th minutes, dragging the Cherries back to level terms at 2-2 and silencing the Kop in the process.
The Reds, however, struck back immediately through Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah, sealing a hard-fought 4-2 win.
Post-match, McManaman singled out Semenyo for special praise and hinted that Liverpool may have missed a trick in not securing his signature.
“Antoine Semenyo ran 50 yards to score that goal after signing a long-term contract,” McManaman told Premier League Productions. “He is strong, dangerous, and built for the Premier League. For me, he should be playing for clubs like Liverpool. He was linked to Anfield this summer before Salah extended his deal.”
With two goals already to his name, Semenyo will be brimming with confidence when Bournemouth welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, August 23.

Last year, the football world quietly said goodbye to one of its most underrated defenders, Joel Matip. Known for shunning the spotlight, Matip lives a private life with no social media presence—just as he did throughout his career.
From the Bundesliga’s Schalke to the Premier League giants Liverpool, Matip’s journey was one of consistency, class, and calmness under pressure. Across his career, he lifted eight trophies, including the coveted Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, etching his name in football history without ever seeking the limelight.
A true professional. A silent legend. ❤️

According to @JamesPearceLFC, Liverpool could be in line to strike a deal for Marc Guehi—provided the price is right. The Crystal Palace defender has long been admired by the Reds, and there’s a growing belief that an agreement could be reached under reasonable financial terms.
With Guehi’s Premier League experience and composure at the back, such a move could be a smart addition to Liverpool’s defensive ranks as they aim to strengthen ahead of the next campaign.
