Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana is set for a fresh start at Southampton under the guidance of newly appointed manager Will Still. The 32-year-old Anglo-Belgian tactician has signed a three-year deal with the Saints after parting ways with RC Lens, where he led the French side to an impressive eighth-place finish in Ligue 1 last season.
Still now faces the challenge of guiding Southampton back to the Premier League following their relegation after just one season in the top flight. The Saints endured a difficult campaign, finishing at the bottom of the table.
One player hoping to benefit from the managerial change is Kamaldeen Sulemana. The Ghana international featured in 30 matches last season, contributing two goals and three assists across all competitions. However, his impact was limited by recurring injuries, making it a frustrating campaign for the talented winger.
With the Championship campaign on the horizon, Sulemana is determined to rediscover his best form and play a pivotal role in Southampton’s promotion push. The 22-year-old joined the club in January 2023 and remains contracted to the Saints until the summer of 2027.
Will Still’s arrival marks a new chapter for both club and player, and Sulemana will be keen to seize the opportunity to impress under the new leadership.
