Ghanaian defender Lumor Agbenyenu has played a key role in SV Ried’s triumphant return to the Austrian Bundesliga, helping the club clinch the 2024/25 Austrian 2. Liga title.

The 28-year-old left-back joined SV Ried in January 2024 on a one-year deal and quickly established himself as a vital component in the team’s promotion push. Featuring in 11 crucial matches during the second half of the season, Lumor’s experience and defensive stability helped guide the Austrian side back to the top tier.

With his current contract set to expire on June 30, 2025, speculation is growing around a possible extension, as the club looks to retain key players ahead of their Bundesliga campaign.
