Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori has set his sights on silverware and European success after completing a move to Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava.
The 23-year-old signed a three-year deal this summer, joining from rivals Spartak Trnava. Driven by ambition and a hunger for victories, Ofori believes the move to Slovan marks an exciting new chapter in his career.
“I am attracted to European football. I long for victories and trophies,” Ofori shared. “One of the key factors in my decision was a conversation with the head coach. We discussed his vision for me at Slovan, which was very encouraging. I am happy to be here and ready to start this new chapter.”
Slovan Bratislava, regular participants in UEFA Champions League qualifiers, will represent Slovakia again in Europe next season. While Ofori featured in European competition with Trnava last season, he is yet to experience football at Europe’s highest level—a challenge he is eager to embrace.
“I want to show the fans the best of myself and help the team to victories and trophies,” he added. “I believe we can fight for European success again. It would be great to achieve something special for our fans and the whole city. I can’t wait for the new season to begin.”
Having graduated from Ghana’s renowned Right to Dream Academy, Ofori is determined to leave his mark both domestically and in Europe as he embarks on this new journey with Slovan Bratislava.
