Newly-promoted Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC are set to make a major statement in the summer transfer window, with the imminent signing of Nigerian international Moses Simon from FC Nantes.
The 29-year-old winger, who boasts 81 caps and 10 goals for the Super Eagles, is on the verge of completing a €7 million switch to the capital-based club. According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Simon has already passed his medical, with official confirmation from both clubs expected within hours.
Simon leaves Nantes after an impressive five-year spell, racking up 201 appearances, 37 goals, and 42 assists. He’s coming off his best-ever Ligue 1 campaign, tallying eight goals and 10 assists in 32 league appearances during the 2024/25 season.
Paris FC, preparing for their debut campaign in the French top flight, see Simon’s arrival as a major coup. The experienced winger will reportedly sign a three-year contract that runs until 2028, doubling his wages from €38,000 to €75,000 per week — the most lucrative deal of his career.
As one of the Super Eagles’ senior figures, Simon brings leadership, top-flight experience, and attacking flair to Paris FC’s ambitious project in Ligue 1.
